More Info
The Asparagus Fern is a fun and easy to care for plant to add dynamic texture to your space. These plants are part of the asparagus family and are not actually ferns despite their name. They grow just like an asparagus plant, with new growth shooting straight up until it feathers out and becomes heavy enough to fall.
The asparagus fern is flexible in most light except for direct sunlight that burns their fronds. They prefer moderately moist soil that is dried more than halfway between waterings. They appreciate higher humidity but are also comfortable in a typical home environment. As the asparagus fern grows they will spread out and begin to overflow their pot. You can either trim them back to encourage new growth, or allow them to grow freely.
