Medium - Bright Indirect Light
This plant will thrive and grow the strongest in a bright indirect light, but is somewhat flexible and will be happy in a dappled medium light as well.

More Info
The Monstera adansonii is often referred to as a “swiss cheese plant” for its highly fenestrated leaves, cut with holes throughout. They are tolerant of most lighting scenarios, but will grow faster and fuller in a bright and sunny space. Just avoid harsh direct light that can sunburn the leaves. They prefer soil to dry 1-3 inches between waterings, and appreciate humidity, but can tolerate regular home conditions just fine. To propagate this plant, we recommend water propagation, take a cutting from the vine of your monstera, and place the cut end in a glass of room temperature water with rooting hormone until established roots begin to form.
Protip: You can choose to grow your monstera adansonii as a long trailing plant in a hanging planter, cut it back often to encourage fuller bushier growth with minimal length, or take advantage of its aerial roots and train your plant to climb upwards. To turn your monstera adansonii into a climber, we recommend using either a moss pole, or a stake wrapped in coconut coir, placed in the center of your pot. Secure the vines of your plant to the pole of your choosing with twine, or a similar material to hold your plant up against the pole, securing around the stems. The aerial roots found along the vines of your plant will begin to attach themselves to these natural poles over time, using them to grab onto and root into the poles themselves. Continue to tie and secure your growing plant until it begins to attach and climb on its own.
