More Info
The Bird of Paradise is one of the easiest tropical plants to care for, and will instantly make a design impact on your space. The plant grows out in a fan-like shape, with the leaves stemming from the base of the plant, and reaching outwards with thick, glossy wide leaves that can grow up to 2 feet long each. They thrive in bright sunny spaces and prefer to be watered regularly. With the right conditions, the Bird of Paradise can grow up to 10 feet tall indoors! Protip: Donโ€™t worry if you notice a split along the edges of the leaves as they mature, this is part of the natural beauty of these plants! This is thought to be an evolutionary response that protects the plantโ€™s large leaves during tropical high winds.
