Medium - Bright Indirect Light
This plant will thrive and grow the strongest in a bright indirect light, but is somewhat flexible and will be happy in a dappled medium light as well.
Allow the top few inches of soil to dry between watering, keeping the soil mostly moist at all times. Increase watering frequency with increased light.
This plant is safe for your pets!
The small silver leaves of this plant really do shine in the sunlight! The thin, slightly red stems vine and cascade down daintily, making this plant perfect for a hanging basket or shelf. Keep your Pilea in a medium to bright indirect light, as its small leaves can begin to burn in harsher light. Allow the soil to dry about ½ between watering again, and repot into a cactus and succulent soil blend when the time comes. Propagating this plant is easy to do, simply take cuttings from the vine and place the ends in room temperature water with rooting hormones. Just remember to remove the leaves below the water line first, after a couple of weeks new roots will be established enough to repot the new cuttings!
