Low - Bright Indirect Light
This plant will thrive and grow the strongest in a bright indirect light, but is flexible and will tolerate most lighting scenarios, even into a lower light space as well.
This plant prefers to dry out most of the way between waterings, allow ½ - ⅔ of the soil to dry before giving a full watering again. It is better to allow the soil to dry more than to water early.
This plant is NOT safe for pets.
Stripy and spiky and easy to love. The Sansevieria Fernwood, like its snake plant cousins, is a striking plant that is quite easy to keep happy. It enjoys light and may grow faster with more indirect light but will also be happy in lesser light situations. Just keep an eye to make sure it is not getting sunburned. The big thing to avoid here is overenthusiastic watering. In an environment with more light the Fernwood may take a little more water; but overall, it’s fine with dryness and only needs watering when the soil is dry. This is a beautiful and resilient plant that will immediately add pizzazz to your collection.
